The Worldwide Transportation Library (WWTL) is committed to making its content accessible to all users, including those with disabilities.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Our current Lighthouse accessibility score is 96/100. We have implemented skip navigation links, ARIA labels on interactive elements, keyboard navigation support across all major controls, sufficient color contrast, and descriptive alt text on images.
WWTL has been hand-coded since 2000 and uses a table-based layout on some pages. Full semantic HTML5 landmark structure is not yet implemented across all 2,870+ profile pages. We are working to improve this progressively.
